Exploring Frank Wild’s long standing relationship with College of Event Management.

Frank Wild is focused on finding a better way to create events and experiences that leave a lasting impression on people, not the planet. We sat down with Director Marky Rochford, to talk about our shared values, the qualities they seek in graduates, and tips for aspiring event managers.

Tell us a little bit about Frank Wild’s long-standing relationship with College of Event Management.

Frank Wild was introduced to College of Event Management (CoEM) through a shared industry connection. Since then, we’ve developed a strong relationship with the college, providing feature lectures, advisory resources for students, and participating in major project presentation panels. In our early days, the college even provided us with a resident office space.

We have maintained close contact with CoEM and have hired five of its graduates over the years. We always share our job openings with the college and encourage both alumni and current students to apply.

Frank Wild currently has two team members in senior positions who are alumni of College of Event Management. What qualities or skills set them apart?

A comprehensive understanding of the wider industry, which we believe the college refines exceptionally well, sets them apart. That’s because this level of understanding can be hard to achieve without also adopting some bad practices. Additionally, graduates from the college possess a strong work ethic and are a great culture fit for us.
